Glossary
Key terms from the technical documentation, in alphabetical order. Documentation
- CapEx
- Capital expenditure. The protocol lowers CapEx by enabling fractional ownership of GPU hardware instead of full asset purchase.
- Conway agents
- Autonomous agents that connect to the platform via specialized smart contracts, reporting GPU cycle consumption in real time.
- Expected Utilization Rate
- The anticipated rate at which a GPU or cluster is used. Token value is correlated to this rate.
- GPU cycles
- Units of computational work consumed by agents on GPU hardware. Revenue is calculated from cycles consumed and price per cycle.
- L1 / Layer 1
- Layer 1 blockchain. In this protocol, L1s manage finality of ownership transfers and large scale payouts.
- L2 / Layer 2
- Layer 2 blockchain. Used here for high frequency telemetry of GPU cycles to keep reporting low latency.
- Proof of Utility
- Environment where idle GPUs generate no revenue; token holders are incentivized to support agent deployments that maintain high utilization.
- τ (tau)
- Time interval in milliseconds at which agents transmit usage metadata for real time reporting.
